Hey friends
You know how the Philippines is a beautiful country, but as with most countries, it also has it’s fair share of problems. Issues like poverty, major disasters, and in many areas a lack of services that you and I have easy access to (think, basic necessities like clean water, regular nutritious food, clothing and electricity. There are a lot of people who live in villages far outside the major cities, in simple bamboo houses called Bahay Kubo, and they don't have much of anything. This is why we fundraise throughout the year.
This is not to ask for funds.
One of the things they really need is clothing, especially for the children. Many of them don't have enough clothes to keep them warm, safe, or healthy. They also need shoes, slippers, sandals and hats, which are necessities for them. It normally comes down to them buying food and daily essentials or items as mentioned above.
That said, we are starting a clothing drive to collect and send new or gently used clothing, shoes, hats, and other similar items for ages 2 and up to the Philippines. These donations will make a huge difference in the lives of these villagers, who will be so happy and thankful.

Other items that they can use is bar soaps and some of the women have shown interest in having purses or bag (a true luxury for these ladies)
We plan on sending these items by April 15th 2024 in two boxes each sized 23X22X20 inches.
